About M&M Web Design

I offer a full suite of services, including web design, landing pages, and branding help. And if you’re the type who likes to learn, I’m happy to show you how to keep your site updated on your own.
If you’re ready to build a website—and have a few laughs along the way—I’d love to work with you.
Wondering what “M&M” stands for? That would be Mugz and Mia, the mini chihuahuas who serve as our Managers of Operation, running the household.
Hi, I’m Steve Russo—a retired teacher and musician turned freelance web designer, and yes, that’s as unexpected as it sounds.
After 34 years as a music educator (and even longer as a freelance musician), I decided it was time for a new kind of gig. But creativity never left the room—it just found a new instrument.
The idea for M&M Web Design was sparked not in a boardroom, but during a home renovation. I hired a talented local craftsman who had no website—just a good reputation. He told me he was overwhelmed by the idea of building a website. That’s when it hit me: I could use my creative skills and years of experience working with people to help small businesses like his get noticed online.
Over the years, I’ve built websites and managed communications for my music programs, and even helped fellow artists and educators build their online presence. As a longtime freelance musician, I understand the grind of building something from scratch.
Now, I help other entrepreneurs—contractors, mechanics, local artists—do just that, by crafting beautiful, custom websites that work as hard as they do. My approach is hands-on and collaborative. I’ll guide you through every step of the process, translate the tech talk, and make sure your website works hard for your business (without giving you a headache).
